A 5 page research paper on Guatemala's attitudes toward the Allied and Axis powers during World War II. The United States had become an important customer for Guatemala's economy, purchasing 60% of Guatemala's annual coffee production. Land reforms and invitations to foreign investment just before the turn of the century had resulted in the immigration of many Germans, who by 1914 oproduced over half of Guatemala's annual coffee production.
